What is a Prints & Polka Dots Print?
A Prints & Polka Dots Print is a custom ceramic plate that preserves the impressions of a child’s hand or foot. As we all know, children grow up so fast and we easily forget how tiny they used to be; especially the size of their hands and feet. Prints & Polka Dots Prints offers a large selection of colors and ribbon choices.

How long does it take?
An appointment usually lasts about 10 - 15 minutes. An order form needs to be completed with your color selection, ribbon choice and lettering preference. The impressions can be completed within a few minutes. Your Prints & Polka Dots Print will be ready to be displayed in your home in 8 weeks.



Is there an age limit?
No, we have done impressions of children as young as 4 days old to grandparents. It's better to be late than never to do it at all!!

How do you make the impression?
Using a soft smooth palate of clay the child’s hand or foot will be gently pressed to make the impression. The clay will feel cool to the touch. All children’s hands and feet need to be easily accessible.

What happens if my print is damaged?
Ceramics are very delicate and somewhat unpredictable. In the rare and unfortunate event that your Prints & Polka Dots Print has an imperfection caused by clay or glaze anomalies, kiln misfires or breakage, you will be given the option of a full refund OR we will make a new Prints & Polka Dot Print for you free of charge at our next event convenient for you.


How much does it cost?
Price ranges from $25.00 to $70.00 per Prints & Polka Dot Print. Prices will very for special orders. Special orders will always be accommodated. For further details, please see Pricing. Payment in full is accepted at the time of the appointment.
Prints & Polka Dots accepts cash and checks only.

Please note that some store locations will be taking their own event reservations and you will need to contact the store directly to reserve your space.

Do you do group events, parties and fundraisers?
Yes, we do them all. We will come to you and your friends with a minimum order of (10) Prints & Polka Dots Prints. We also participate in fundraisers for preschools and daycare centers. Please contact us to discuss details and further information.


How do I get the impressions back?
All orders are delivered back to the same location where the impressions were taken. You will be notified in 8 weeks by phone or email regarding delivery date. Orders can also be shipped to you with applicable shipping and handling fees.
